Maverick Murphy is a country music singer, songwriter and guitar player born and raised in Southeast Texas. While being known as the son to Texas country star Patrick Murphy, Maverick is quickly making his own name in the Texas country scene. 2025 was a very busy year for Maverick as a full-time student at Texas A&M in College Station, and a full slate of live performances supporting his “self-titled” three song EP, which included viral hits. 2026 is shaping up to be an even busier year with the March 3rd release of his sophomore EP titled “Gonna Make You Miss Me”, with 4 self-penned songs and one cover of a tune by friend and mentor, Jason Allen. The new EP has already seen significant TikTok success with a pre-released single in Q4 2025 of “The Way She Moves”. Maverick continues to headline most of the major venues in the SE Texas market including the HLS&R, Mo's Place, Dosey Doe, Rowdy's, Back Yard (Waco), Sawyer Park, Mullins Prairie, Greek Brothers and more, but the highlight so far was earning a headlining spot in his hometown, Fort Bend County Fair in 2025. We are currently expanding the tour schedule to include North / West Texas and beyond. Maverick has also been blessed to provide tour support for many country music stars including: Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd, Randall King, Braxton Keith, Cory Morrow, Jason Boland, Rick Trevino, Mark Wills, Carson Jeffrey, Stoney LaRue, Kyle Park, Wayne Toups, Wade Hayes and more. We look forward to seeing you at a honkytonk or festival near you!
